Required Registration Documents

For a Beginner

  •   1 passport copy with valid Dubai residence visa*
  •   Original Emirates ID card with a copy
  •   2 passport size photographs
  •   Eye test report (Eye test can be completed at DDC Head Office / AL Qusais / Al khail)
  •   No Objection Letter from sponsor** (Download specimen NOC letter)
  •   Professions that do not require an NOC letter
  •   Age must be 17yrs or over

  •   * Registration for residence visa holders from other emirates (How to)
  •   ** In cases where the sponsor is the husband or father a copy of the sponsor’s passport is require

For students who have a license from their country of origin

  •   One passport copies with valid Dubai residence visa
  •   Original Emirates ID card with a copy
  •   2 passport size photographs
  •   Eye test report (Eye test can be completed at DDC Head Office / Al Qusais / Al khail)
  •   Original home country license and copy
  •   Affidavit from the Consulate stating you have a valid license from that country. Please check with your respective consulate the procedure for getting the affidavit as it is different for different countries. (If the license is a computerized card in English, there is no need to get an affidavit from the Consulate)
  •   No Objection Letter from sponsor** (Download specimen NOC letter)
  •   Professions that do not require an NOC letter
  •   Age must be 17yrs or over
  •   * In cases where the sponsor is the husband or father a copy of the sponsor’s passport is required


For students who are Emiratis

  •   Original Emirates ID card with a copy
  •   2 passport size photographs
  •   Eye test report (Eye test can be completed at DDC Head Office / Al Qusais / Al khail)
  •   Age must be 17yrs or over

For Valid GCC license holders

  •   Two passport copies with valid Dubai residence visa
  •   Original Emirates ID card with a copy
  •   2 passport size photographs
  •   Eye test report (Eye test must be completed at DDC Head Office / Al Qusais / Al khail)
  •   Original license and copy

For people with visas from other emirates

  •   Two passport copies with valid Dubai residence visa
  •   Original Emirates ID card
  •   2 passport size photographs
  •   Eye test report (Eye test can be completed at DDC Head Office / Al Qusais / Al khail)
  •   No Objection Letter from sponsor stating that they have a branch in Dubai (Download Specimen NOC letter)
  •   No Objection Letter from the other emirate, stating that the student has not opened a file in that emirate
  •   No Objection Letter from the RTA for the student to open a file in Dubai

How To

  •   In case you do not hold a Dubai Visa, but have a valid visa from any other emirate, you can still register with DDC. You need to submit the following additional documents at the time of registration.
