
DDC's forklift operator courses prepare students for the RTA operator’s test enabling them to get a Dubai Driving License category No. 7 for Light Forklift or category No. 8 for Heavy Forklift or Shovel. Students completing the course and passing the RTA tests are licensed to operate these machines

You must be a citizen of the country with current resident status in UAE. The countries whose citizens can transfer their driving licenses are given below

Effective 12/05/2013 Heavy Truck drivers are required to do the following to obtain a driving license and permit:
All students who register for HMV Training Course must attend 8 mandatory lectures. These lectures are conducted 7 days a week. We offer these lectures in English/Urdu and Arabic at different locations across Dubai such as Al Barsha, Jebel Ali and Aweer.
The Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) curriculum has five stages which are summarized below
Stage 1 (1.07 − 1.12) is carried out off road in a LMV if the student has no license before commencing training. Stage 4 is initially taught off road to build basic skills (dealing with gradients on-road is then taught in stage 2). Stage 4 can be taught either following completion of stage 1.
